KARRAGULLEN EXPO 2012 The Annual Karragullen Horticultural Expo was held on Saturday 13th October 2012. The Pickering Brook Heritage Group again joined with Tom Price to put on a combined heritage display. It had increased in size from the previous year owing to its popularity. The day was proving a great success until bad weather came in late morning which reduced attendance from then on. Up until then attendance looked like setting a new record. Unfortunately it was only the fourth wet day for the Expo in some 30 years of it being held. However great interest was shown and new contacts were made with families of early residents. The release of our third Heritage Calendar entitled "On the Road" resulted in good sales being made on the day. This event is proving to be a very successful day for the group and we will be there bigger and better next year.
